What is a Daughter of the Cosmos?

The science is undeniable. The world we know is getting ever more dysfunctional. We humans have to decide who we want to be. Are we going to go ever more tribal, and destroy ourselves? It sure feels like that could happen.

There is another way, a better way we can go. We can cut out the bull***t. We can get our act together. We can choose to end the political swagger and self-absorption. We can ground ourselves in life-affirming purpose. Cooperation and commitment on a global scale, that’s how we survive; maybe the only way we survive. We must challenge and marginalize the uninformed and those hostile to that reality.

I admire his wisdom. I think it won’t be just western women. It will be all women in all parts of the world. This is now possible with a globally connected social media linking everyone in real time.

One of my greatest teachers, the social scientist Riane Eisler, lit the path for me on gender equality. I embraced her wisdom. It became clear enough that if male humans are going get past the worst in ourselves, we need to reconcile with the feminine side that dwells in each of us. Human sexuality functions much more like a continuum than an either, or.

A lot of good men have seen the light. They are choosing to stand together in partnership with women and with LGBTQ humans, sharing equal access to the levers of power. This is how life on Earth should work. It’s how we survive: all the world’s people standing behind common commitment. Every human has a stake in restoring nature to its full, wonderfully diverse and resilient grandeur.

It is also true we are up against serious resistance. There are still too many humans, who remain entrenched in their old ways. They circulate their lies and deceit across the world’s cultures through politics and the social media. They play dirty to retain their grip on all levels of power.

One way to draw the attention of people reluctant to change is to leverage the appeal of sexually charged media content. Green Erotic Art is a celebration of human sexuality, particularly female sexuality. Green Erotica entertains while instilling a message that serves nature, people, and planet. It is feminist and life-affirming.

As EmanPDX, Artist/provocateur, my green erotic art celebrates feminine beauty and sexual power. The intent is to provoke a dialogue about women, about all humans having the freedom to enjoy the full range of natural sexual expression. Most people will find contentment within a limited range of what should be considered natural expression. No matter an individual’s personal preference, all humans must learn to be tolerant of the sexual choices of other humans. In a culture in tune with nature, consent without duress or intent to do harm is where the line is drawn.

Green Erotica separates itself from porn that is exploitive and gratuitous. Green is the color of feminist erotic art designed to draw attention to a life-affirming message. Let’s call it a sex-positive celebration. Green erotica is well-suited to marginalizing misguided morality. When it’s green, it’s life-affirming; it’s fun; it’s humans savoring their own sexual energy. That’s something humanity should

choose to celebrate. Green Erotica is a way to encourage human rights for all, and a broad cultural tolerance for natural sexual expression.

Healthy sexual expression is part of nature’s grand design. Green erotica is immune to empty moralizing. It encourages equality and dignity for all as part of a commitment to shared planetary stewardship. At its best, it serves as a highly effective human survival strategy.

Daughters of the Cosmos celebrates women, who are comfortable with creative sexual expression. The intent is to provoke a transformative cultural dialogue.

A Daughter of the Cosmos is much more than ordinary and uninformed. She’s a female in touch with every aspect of her personal humanity. She assertively claims her equal rights as part of the greater human whole. She is committed to dignity for all and a common human obligation to planetary stewardship.

Women in touch with the cosmos live with worthy purpose. They own who they are. They love to rattle the cultural cage. They know our world is in very big trouble. They know sexual power is real power. They are choosing to use their personal power to serve a greater good. They are stepping up in so many places, using their sensual brand of provocation to repudiate and marginalize every kind of empty moralizing and misogyny.

All Daughters of the Cosmos are also Green Girls, all sharing a common commitment to nature, people, and planet. It is my privilege to stand with them. Our green erotic art is intended to celebrate and to empower them; to elevate them and provoke a cultural dialogue on gender equality and planetary stewardship.

For me, creating art that draws attention to these women and their life-affirming advocacy could not be more gratifying.
